Can Devils win this one?

The Armadale Stellar Devils are still looking to break their duck this season and sit at the foot of the table, but they will be going flat out for victory when Plymouth, the team immediately above them in the table, visit Armadale on Saturday afternoon (2:30pm), following the Monarchs' match against Plymouth Gladiators the previous evening.

The NDL team Plymouth Centurions actually have two matches on Saturday as they are due to race at Berwick in the evening as the second part of the double header down there.

Two guest riders spearhead the Centurions efforts as they will use Kyle Bickley (Berwick Bullets) at no. 1 for long-term injury victim Dan Gilkes, and Belle Vue Colt Sam McGurk in place of Adam Roynon who is riding in a Championship meeting. Sam won the 500cc section of the British Youth Championship at Armadale in May.

Centurions will also use rider replacement for the injured Ben Trigger. The four other visiting riders, all regular Plymouth men, are each making their Armadale debut.

The Devils had another disappointing result at Oxford during the week and are well aware that they are overdue a good performance. Elliot Kelly returns after missing the Oxford visit for a College exam, and he along with Kyran Lyden and Josh Embleton are all signings by the Devils mid-season who will be looking to boost the team's performances as they increase their experience of Armadale.

Devils' promoter John Campbell is hoping for that elusive first win and says "Lee Complin has been picking up a number of guest bookings in the Championship and will be much sharper than the last time we were here. Let's hope that he can lead us to victory for the first time this year."

Friday's match will be Live Streamed. Details on www.edinburghmonarchs.co.uk
