Armadale have announced who will pull on the new Stellar Devils racejacket for the 2021 season. Read on to find out more.

During Friday evening's What The Fork Monarchs online 2021 Season Reveal show, the Stellar Devils had their own chance to shine.

Stellar Devils promoter John Campbell was delighted to unveil the full team line up for the upcoming National Development League season and was joined on the show by two of the team.

Campbell announced, "This is a great opportunity for local speedway talent to enter league racing. We have been able to reinforce these young riders with some more experienced riders who will boost their development during this exciting season."

The full Stellar Devils line up is: Nathan Greaves, Tom Woolley, Danny Phillips, Sheldon Davies, George Rothery, Lewis Millar, Gregor Millar.

This means that five riders remain from the intended 2020 line up, joined by newcomers Tom Woolley and Sheldon Davies.

Tom, aged 27 from Burton-on-Trent in Derbyshire, joins the team on a 6.69 average. Fresh off the back of winning the 2019 Championship Knock Out Cup with Redcar Bears, Tom also has excellent NDL experience with Buxton and Belle Vue Colts.

Sheldon, aged 20 from Wombwell in South Yorkshire, comes in on a 3.00 average. Sheldon is in the early stages of his speedway journey and previously ridden in the NDL with Birmingham and Cradley.

Nathan Greaves and Tom Woolley both featured on the Season Reveal show and spoke of their excitement about the season ahead. Nathan Greaves will also double up with the What The Fork Monarchs as he looks to supercharge his speedway development to the benefit of both Monarchs and Devils.

Stellar Devils first two home fixtures were also confirmed. The 2021 home campaign will start with a visit from Berwick Bandits on Friday 7th May at 7:30pm, followed by a visit from Newcastle Diamonds on Friday 14th May at 7:30pm.

It is anticipated that the full National Development League fixture list will be available soon.

New Youth Development Initiative

A new "cradle-to-Scottish Champion" youth rider development initiative is in the works. Plans will include a pathway for children of all ages to become involved in speedway racing. This will include the development of a mini speedway track at Armadale Stadium.
