Mason Watson Joins All-New Squad

Armadale Devils can now unveil that their first signing for the 2020 National Development League season is nineteen year-old Mason Watson.

Berwick-based Mason has spent most of his life on a motorbike, starting motocross at the age of 6 and continuing on to race competitively for seven years from the age of 12. He had his first shot at speedway at the Berwick Speedway Academy in October 2018. As a fairly late starter to speedway, Mason has improved quickly to such an extent that Berwick signed him on a full contract at the end of the 2019 season.

Mason is excited to have his first team place in league racing, "I'm really looking forward to riding for the Devils. It's another step up the ladder for me and I want to keep climbing as I'd like to make a career out of the sport and race internationally."

Away from the track Mason is a builder to trade and still jumps on his motocross bike on occasions as well as enjoying karting in his spare time.
